Re: New Games for the Fall

I like the thought of not knowing the adversary, it might add some new to the game. Personally i would prefer no communication or cooperation allowed at all. However in the end it should be known who played which position, including dropouts! I like to know who the backstabbers are. :) I played othe...

Re: Using the Q is cheating?

No idea about actual game mentioned. Using the Q to cheat is not a good idea it make no sense trying, you might win 1 situation and loose 5 others due to it playing poorly. (It might also recycle ships it don´t see the use for.) The Q can tow and intercept cloaked ships, and use a few other tricks t...

Re: Foundation 7

Not signing up for a game just giving a little feedback.

I like to play a game with less minerals as well, but very low minerals like between 0-100 of each mineral on a planet is also very unbalanced. Priv/Cyborg/lizard/crystal get the advantage.

Re: Welcome to No Frills 134

Congrats to Guderian the lizard with the victory well deserved! Thanks to everyone for an interesting game! Especially thanks to those who remained in game even if they had little left to fight with. There is a big difference fighting a player and the spacelord. I decided to fight this game allone w...

Re: DanoKiller (Robot) destroys sssavage (Crystals) Epic Rum

Might be hard to find the bird a flagship who are not a cloaker, if the Flagship are to be a secret. Likely any ship who can not cloak is the Flagship. :)

Re: Game summary

Perhaps I should make the universe less rich next time.... Yes, please do that and also considder skipping teleport. As every add on that one too gives more to those who do not really need it than those who does. :) Ricky if you don´t fell like the competition is hard enough, considder it twice bef...

Re: 1st Drop

Well it explains the score. It is a shame in many ways, a new player lost perhaps forever due to a very bad beginner mistake. A game with a drop before it even really started. When picking up a dropout, always remember to think positive about what can be done, instead of what could have been done. :)

Re: Robots Vs Crystals In An Epic Rumble

Yes, that would be the most reasonable solution in most cases. You would get little for free against a human player, so why should it be different if one are up against a human player who withdraw from game.

The computer player is not a very good adversary if you have a reasonable fleet yourself.

Re: Robots Vs Crystals In An Epic Rumble

Naturally i can only guess about his reasons, but you might look at it as his way of saying that even open ended game are not supposed to last forever. Staying to turn 175 and then making sure, that neither of you benefits directly from his withdravel from the game i find reasonable and very honorab...

Re: Welcome to No Frills 134

I hope you are joking, but i fear i hear you say, that you asked Havok or Bitmask help figure out what happened with your HP and that I better not be to happy about my new found natives.

Still if something is to go wrong then better turn 1 than any other turn.
