As long as winplan opens a copy of the rst, I can copy it's fizz.bin to my other computer's JVC dir. I guess its not that big a deal... JVC is the best client I have found tho. It really rocks. I have a thing for custimization and JVC has got that in spades. That and all the add-ons, as the scale o...

Jvc only reads fizz.bin - it only contains static registration information. When winplan writes the fizz.bin (which it does at every maketurn), it sort of re-writes the static information with a different encryption key (which are in scram21.ole and reg.key afair), but the information is the same. J...

Re: Having a wierd prob w/ Java VGA Client, any ideas guys?

Hi Did you follow the instructions correctly: http://www.jvc-client.com/jvcdocumentation.html#Installation Using a scram21.ole, VPH35.DLL and reg.key in your jvc directory, plus a fizz.bin from a real winplan played game directory in your jvc game is what it takes. To be sure i suggest that you play...

The empire player is usually pretty consistent with her turns. If she missed them all I'm sure something came up. Too bad if a player starts out loosing turns this early in the game. If needed i would not mind delay for a few days to avoid the player dropping out entirely. So: if possible ask empir...

As a replacement starting badly, and seeing only slowly progress i can see this would end very far out in the future if we continue. It might be better to find a game to start from scratch and have more fun there than here. Though i must admit that i would also not mind continue, as my starting was ...

Re: A possibly stupid idea....

We all get frustrated when people leave their turn to the last minute. I know I do.... So - what about a game where the host runs when all turns but one are in? if you're the last - you lose out - and it serves you right for being a lazy bum.... If more than one turn is missing - the host runs at h...

Re: Game Format Request/Suggestion

One of the most fun type of games were the ring world type of games. Also a more intriguing challange is the Blind score. And of course, no ally (it is a ring after all) So thats - Ring World Blind Score No Ally Of course this would mean breaking my two game limit. I made this a long time ago: http...

Re: Another NoFrills?

Hey ][avok, do you think you could start up another NoFrills game if there is enough interest? Perhaps add OneAlly....? I'm keen to give the Tholians a run. Anyone interested in joining a NoFrills game??? Isn't it about time to create a couple more NoFrills games? kr. ld Yeah it's getting close to ...
