I might agree about first and second place and the time it would take to sort it out . But what you don't understand, I am going up against an experienced player. I would rather play that game than a dozen other easy games. So what can I say - DEFEND YOURSELF!!

I am not sure of who is winning because of the scoring. I certainly don't want the game to go based on scoring. The default scoring system is not a measure of strength or who would ultimately win the echo cluster. In the scoring system, you get points for destroying ships with ships. I am relying on...

I am glad it is finally ending. These turns were starting to take a toll. It's been fun. I hear new versions of the echo cluster open up from time to time. Perhaps we will meet again.

Oh sure, come and get them. They don't quite yet have mark 7s or any fighters yet. In fact, some would call em tubeless, fighterless stacks of wonder. They are starting to stack up.

I would think probes would pick up new planets assuming you HYPed out of your known territory. All I know is that I have not detected any new planets and so I have to wonder. I should know better this next turn as I am going to skirt the edge of my known space in opposite sides. I should get somethi...

Ok, its been a few turns in now and I am thinking I should be seeing a few new planets. I am at the edge of my known territory and nothing new has revealed itself. Is it I just happened to pick the wrong spots on the edge to view from or new planets not showing up? Is everyone else getting new plane...

Actually, that's the way it should be. Your ally is in second place. If he thinks he can change the outcome of the game, he should certainly be allowed to try. I just think it is so obvious that you guys will not be able to change the outcome to play on would be a futile waste of time. However, that...

Ending the Game

I think everyove can see that the outcome of the game will not change by playing further. There is just not enough time to change that determination . There is no sense playing turns that will not change the final outcome of this game. I am at my game limit and would rather spend my time elsewhere. ...

It has been over a month since our last discussion about the outcome of the game. As I had mentioned back then, every turn, our side has/will grown faster and stronger. It has to be apparent you are not going to catch us in the remaining time. I would like to vote to end this game. I am clearly goin...

Ending the Game

On turn 89, I received an ingame message stating the intent to ask for a vote to end the game on turn 100. The question I have is do we really want to play for elevyn turns running up the score instead of playing for the game? I really don't relish the thought of playing for score instead of playing...

The problem with voting on this game is that I think the Gorn have a fair chance of winning it. Of course, I always think I am going to win. But in this case, I can see senarios where he could take it. And of course, he there are players between us for either of us to do anything immediate to change...

Needs a little kick

All turns are in and have been for over an hour. Can we give it a little kick?

Well, Well Well - it appears the pirates have decided to run their score up. Let's play it out.

The weighting thing you are suggesting would be an administrative nightmare for ][avok." Actually it is not. The vote takes place. A player protests he/she is being robbed. A quick glance would tell you if there is a reasonable chance of overturning the outcome, it continues. In this game merely lo...
