The Maquis shiplist with the >320 ton Victory could actually be survivable if played correctly. There's enough balance there to provide a resourceful Maquis player with a decent number of options. A lot still depends on the config. For the Maquis to actually be competitive they MUST be the only race...

Klauser, I'm away from my ship list, but that cargo capacity looks Ok if the D'Visor causes 10% damage to friendly ships. I can't remember which pop ship the D'Visor was based on. My only other recommendation would be to increase the Victory mass >320kt to allow it to only take 1% damage from a fig...

I've never played an AQ "team game." Most AQ games seem to end up in teams due to alliances, and I've seen some end up in 3 and 4 way alliances. That's why One Ally was used in AQ 8. I ended up avoiding Klingon space simply because I didn't want to fight multiple races. I had actually planned to go after the Kingon once the Maquis was eliminated, but then the Cadassian invaded the Romulans from the West, which was an obvious mismatch. I didn't have much choice but to hit the Rom...

For the record, while I'd love to take credit for manipulating the Q into allying with itself against Gavan, I had nothing to do with it.
