The Romulan Fleet has raised a toast in honor of the Captain and crew of the Klingon NEQ'VAR Assault Cruiser "Snoozing Ballista". It is uncommon for any ship to destroy eight opponents in battle and then survive to spearhead the assault on the target planet. Even if the foe was composed of Maquis l...

That would help on this end as well. Got some military exercises to support coming up soon. Why don't you make it a poll and send an in-game message for those who don't read the forums.

Home to Klingon space? ALL space is Klingon space! Our warriors do not fear death, they do not long to return "home." Our warriors long only to rain death and destruction upon the enemy. Look upon the Klingon fleets and despair, Maquis, for they exist only to destroy you. Should the ships of this w...

End it...

It has been a good game and I accomplished my goals of clearing the cobwebs from my VGA Planets skills. The remaining alliance status would ultimately result in an economic defeat for Bane, but it would be painfully slow getting there. End it and we shall meet again :)

Quitters

Since we are on the subject of quitters (sort of)... How many games does a player get to quit before he (or she) has to take a Circus-Maximus time-out...

That gets frustrating when the neighboring empire goes through the coup of the week and all previous agreements are null and void.

Birdman Response

This was my first game after a six year time-out from the Echo Cluster and my first online game. This is also my first time using the Auto Troll scoring system (That took awhile to catch onto...) I have had good success with diplomatic, economic and combat efforts and am really enjoying the game. I ...

Romulan Ship Mix

I like the Romulan ship mix Klauser created for AQ. - The Romulan Scout is great! (Cloaking/Gravatonic with 2 beams) It allowed me to get out and find my neighbors Home Worlds early. Works great to covertly shuttle cash when necessary as well. - A good balance of economical mid-weight torp ships. - ...

Birds!

I prefer the Birds. Fits my style of combat. Got to push the economy hard early though or you're toast (which is true for any race). Got to be prepared to take the losses when you face the Carrier races though.

Need help with WINPLAN load on "new" laptop.

I am trying to load a registered version of WINPLAN on a new (used) laptop I picked up to support my gaming habit while on the road. The machine is a Dell Latitude C600 w/ Pentium III 1 GH processor and 256 MB RAM. The machine is loaded with WIN 2000 (5.00.2195 SP4). My registered copy of WINPLAN is...
