My least favorite is any with PHOST.

The features of planets that annoy me the most is the mine laying bonus for bots and free fighters and all tech 1 carriers still fighting nearly as good as all tech 10 ones - so it would be bots that I dislike the most.

Just give the darkwings a bigger fueltank, please! Why? Their small fuel tanks and good fire power is why I like going against the little Birdies. The Resolutes are a little harder to capture with their 8 beams and big fuel tank. So far in a 1 on 1 situation no Crystal has pushed me back when I was...

gotte love them birds. Sneaky sneaky and with the cloaked intercept used appropiately, they have not a single race that can just walk over them.

Just give the darkwings a bigger fueltank, please!

A friend of mine had found a bug in host.exe that allowed for building any number of structures you like - as long as you pay for them. How did he find the bug? Was it just a random item that he noticed, or did he look through host order? None of the above. He was looking for bugs/cheats and playin...

A friend of mine had found a bug in host.exe that allowed for building any number of structures you like - as long as you pay for them. He emailed Tim about it, but never got an answer. About one year after that there was a discussion on the newsgroup about some features of VPA and some people stuck...

You are Bane from Bane's fleet review?

I started too late with Planets for those really nasty bugs, but I think I made up for that by being named on vgaplanets.com as "malicious cheater" and being responsible for at least half a dozen bugfixes in Jupiter :).

Three Marbles - Should I go for the fourth now?

It's a bit of a downer that that stupid base killed that Gorbie (about 85 % chance of winning) but I think I can live with that. Highly amusing in my opinion is that the Q decided to tow away a Firecloud that I was going to capture this very turn. The next turn will be quite interesting - will the F...

I even met Armin (plus his dog, Nikita) once. Have been playing since about 1996, first on a sneaker net with people from my school, then some time during 1999 my brother pointed me towards Spaceport Hamburg (I still don't have any clue why he went looking for a Planets host, since he never ever con...

For the record Cherek, i am not one of the Battlestar gang, my time there was short compared to other sites. If you feel the need to pigeon hole me, then perhaps one of the gang from Spaceport Hamburg would be more fitting. The good old spaceport... Those were the times, with Armin beta-testing Jup...

yup, that is the forecast for the former Colonial marble.

In other news, the friggin Q miracolously knows when to intercept his own ships at warp1.
