In that case, maybe you can look at some of the ideas of what would be nice to have in a client, i.e. a few things from EchoView, a couple of things from VPA etc ... and create a new client. I sure somewhere here there is a discussion on that topic.
The line below is true.
The line above is false.

Don't forget voice chat so people / team mates / can work on their turns in real time.

Let's fix the bugs first :)

But a list like you are talking about would be good, Cherek.
Add some Tanascius stuff in as well.

I've been using VPA for so long that going back
to a planets type interface just frustrates me.

I have not checked on PCC2's status of late.

I use PCC to make my turns. VPA to unpack and play...
That shouldn't be needed with the newer versions of VPA as they have stefan's pcc unpack mechanism integrated.

An enhancement of pcc over vpa are programmable tasks, which I miss dearly. The backdraw is IMO the user interface which doesn't offer me as compact information - but I'm an old VPA fan :).

As combat viewer & simulator, pcc is still superior to all, though. Echoview offers some information which I haven't seen retrieved by either, VPA or PCC that nicely.

Cheers
