Hi,

just encoutered this kind of setting:

turn 39 - missouri orbiting Fred in ion storm

turn 40 - towed away by a privateer meteor

... just wondering how can a privateer ship tow me away from an ion storm and more importantly, stay cloacked orbiting the planet turn 39 :D
I know its been a while since my last PHost game but at least this one keeps surprising me :)

Or, my echoview lies about the Ion Storm.

... just curious what else I've forgotten IF cloacking in an ion storm is possible :D

Ion storm effects happen before movement. That is, you can move into a storm and still be cloaked. You will be decloaked next turn.

This is the same in PHost and Tim's host.

Okay, just remembered the host order then wrong - had flashback that ion storms would decloak similar than Loki ie. before and after movement.

And so it seems:
Ion storms:
-move
-join
-decloak ships
-damage ships
-drag ships
-new storms formed
-affect minefields
....
Towing ships move
Cobol Ramscoop makes fuel
Warpwell calculation
Most ships move (Incl. HYP)

Gotta print it to the wall so won't remember it wrong next time :D
