Player ranking system?

What do you like about what's going on at Circus-Maximus.com? Or, if you're the whiny type, tell us what stinks! We may not fix it, but we'll listen...

I may not have won, but You have only placed HIGHER than me only once in our head to head games, plus I like to play very aggressive and always take out 2 races if not more. So in 2 years and playing mostly Klingon's and Tholians, I am not at all ashamed of my rank, and not being in Command Quarters, a place I do want to be in though. Its nice to see that you finally made it out of the Alpha Level over there as well. Some of us(I) were able to do it on the 1st try, even playing a race they(I) had never played before. :P
Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference.
The US Marines don't have that problem.

What is the actual ranking system here at Circus-Maximus? How is the point system figured?

The same as it was at Battlestar Command Bridge. I thought I had heard that our scores from Battlestar Command Bridge was suppose to be transferred to here, but I don't think that is going to happen.

I've written him several times about that, last time he said he'd get it right to me, and I'm still waiting for it. I think Ed has been forever lost in the World of Warcraft.

He isn't the first one and he won't be the last person to get lost in it.

Now that the two games I was in have finished, I dropped to a space
cadet again!

I have no idea. I really don't like this ranking system though.

The game was actually ended on both occasions, so you shouldn't have lost any kind of score. I'll ask the author.

At one time at Ed's, I was the only Galactic Warlord that hadn't won a game. After being kidded about it I said the heck it and went out and won two games. So I have to ask, who cares about ranking, it the destruction that is fun.

Mine is more idle curiousity than concern with ranking.

I will agree that there is a problem there, since you did go down in status (only in rank wise).

When we get WC2 up and running and I join that game,
it should be interesting to see if my rating jumps up.

My guess is that the ranking dropped due to my being inactive.

More than likely, but it should be storing your total points and adding them as you accumulate them.

hennef,
I was over at rcworld and noted their ranking system.
Their system is straightforward.
Rewards wins.
Rewards turns submitted.
But turns submitted have no effect on wins.

I was looking for an hoped for addon.
"One Ally" or something similar.
Haven't found it yet.
