D&D - asteroids?

Post by Gilgamesh » Fri Sep 25, 2009 4:29 pm

I've never played a game where asteroids was running as an addon so maybe I don't know what to look for, but we're at turn 30 and so far, if there are any asteroids floating around near me, they must be cloaked! What am I looking for here????

Hmm - not the first to wonder about that, newer found one in my first game with that addon either.

If you use eccoview and a meteor show up, you can hardly miss it.

I can tell you that it is the size of a planet and it moves each turn. When clicking on it with the mouse it will let you know of the size of it and the heading.

It might be blue, but I am not completely sure about that.

I didn't see an asteroid til now as well, so the reason is probably not that you are blind ;-)

If you're using a DOS based version of Planets or VPA you should be using the UFO info that's provided with the turn to see an asteroid (provided it's in range).

If you're using Winplan, PCC or Echoview that data should show up on your screen automatically (again if you're in range).
