AQ6 Setup

This is straight from the docs..

This mod is designed for the for both the WinPlan and DOS versions of
VGA PLANETS 3.X.

For HOST:

- Make sure you distribute the first three zip files AQ_Data, AQ_Docs, AQ_Bmps, to each of the players.


For HOST and PLAYERS:

1) Create a new directory SEPARATE from any standard VGA PLANETS
player or program directory. A new directory is STRONGLY recommended
because the data and graphics files for this mod changes the race
and ship data for VGAP. I suggest using the original install
procedures from your VGA PLANETS disk to set up this new player
directory (i.e. C:\ALFAQUAD).

2) Extract the files

AQ_Data20.zip - into the new VGAP directory (i.e. C:\ALFAQUAD).
AQ_Bmps20.zip - (WinPlan only) into the BMP directory under
the new VGAP directory (i.e. C:\ALFAQUAD\BMP).
AQ_Docs20.zip - reference information, extract
wherever ... (i.e. C:\ALFAQUAD\DOCS).


As you extract these files, you'll get a warning from Windows/DOS
informing you that these filename already exist. You DO want to
replace the existing files.
