I'm almost done with the setup.
I will be sent out with turn 2 and when all turns are in the game can start in full swing.

You are about to recieve turn 2 and the new config files for your race selection.
There will be a PlayerSetup*.zip file that contain your custom files.
You need to override the files in your game folder with these new files.
This will then give you your custom shiplist to build and include your settings you can use for sims, your extended mission and the race names off all players.
(truehull.dat, race.nm, mission.ini, pconfig.src)

Please check your settings.
When all players have sent in their turn 2 files, the game will be set to host automatic.

You will not be able to see the shiplist of the other players in the game as you could previously.
So if it looks like your enemy cannot build any ships other than the free ships, don't be fooled [-X

i replaced all files mentioned in my game-folder, but i am not able to buidl any special ship!!

only the common ships...:(

edit says : in the zip-file were no pconfig.src for example...

I have the same issue.

I just got turn 2 with 3 files, player8.rst, util8.dat and PlayerFiles.zip. Inside PlayerFiles.zip I got BEAMSPEC.DAT, ENGSPEC.DAT, HULLSPEC.DAT, planet.nm, shiplist.txt, TORPSEC.DAT and xyplan.dat. I override all as stated in a previous mail but when I open turn 2 I only see turn1 ships (free ones). I'm using VPA.

Maybe something is missing (like race.nm or new pconfig.src)

Same here. There ain't also the PlayerSetup*.zip file in the new config files.

Auto Troll did not send the extra file with for some reason, so I manually sent it to each player. You should have the PlayerSetup.zip files by now to play you turns with all ships available.

If you get a message that say PLS not active, then it is working.
PLS only kick in after 450 ships has been built. Before that you will only receive a message that the game has not reached 450 ships and the PLS is not yet activated.
