Troll and I are bumping heads on the flak*.dat files.
The only think I can think of that it might be is that perhaps the FLAK server is keeping references open to the files so that they cannot be included in the zip and sending process.
From the timestamp they exist 2 sec. before the host finish and write the trn files.

This is definitively not the case because FLAK server cannot keep files open after it terminates. Plus, it opens files the very same way as PHost opens them, so if the zip/send process can open the RST, it should be able to open flak.dat, too.

I hate to sound like a broken record, (Ok, maybe I don't) but I thought I'd give you an update, but still no FLAK7.dat. No combat so right now, it isn't a biggy for me.

Bloody hell, fleet combat on multiple fronts.. this game is becoming a mess. If you enjoyed TKF, for sure you will also like FLAK.

I send them out manually each turn. Perhaps ][avok can assist with it this turn and next as I am out of town with limited internet.

Sorry guys I didn't know Bitmask was sending them manually each turn. I've just sent each player their files.

A small update on the FLAK browser, you can now directly start PlayVCR for the selected combat file:

FLAK Browser 1.3

Thanks for the files.

No one hasn't figured out why the file are not being sent out?
