...Refreshment at a local asteroid trucker joint, SUDDENLY, aliens jump into the bar. Our heroes flee, all the while firing from the hip. Traveling through the station, into the back ally, through, over and under steamy refuse and finally face to face with a wall. They turn with grim determinations;

Carlos: roles a 19 to kill a bug.
Nate 13 roles a one, crap, two bugs latch themselves to the upper pythons known as his arms.
Jules, in hero fashion, Takes a half step back. WHAT!!!!

Hehe, actually Julius was never one to take a half step... that was the oversized musclebound oaf called Nate.

To correct the presented scenario with a more likely outcome...

Carlos opens fire on a bug and takes one down.

Nate13 opens fire but two get through and start clawing and biing him.

Julius in heroic fashion begins climbing the wall knowing his is thier only hope. If he can get up top he can perhaps save Carlos and Nate from the onslaught of the bugs. If he can't save them.. at least he can put a bullet in thier heads to save them from a miserable slow death.

Your first goal was always making sure you could put a bullet in our heads, if any solution to a problem would not allow that option no matter what the odds of success it was always discounted.

hehe, Do not listen to Carlos (roadkills) delusional perceptions of the heroic Julius. Okay.. listen, be amused but understand that his declarations about Julius are ussually laced and twisted by emotional bias and often missing in reality.

Never quite understood while Carlos never trusted Julius given that it was ussually Carlos and his antics diggin our graves.

But I guess Carlos was used to being a puppet of his government without free thought outside the interest of the colonial corporate elite.

Anyways.. Carlos.. you of all folks know that had Julius wanted you dead he would have made it happen but such was never of interest to him.. in fact protecting and keeping you troublemakers alive was more his agenda.

And a very tough one too. :P
