Anyone played the game Faster Than Light aka FTL?

I picked it up recently on GOG.com for $2.50 during a sale, you can also get it on Steam. The game is an insanely addicting 1 player space game. You can play a game in as little as 5-10 minutes or much longer as your skills improve.

Get FTL at GOG.com

Get FTL at Steam

Guilty as charged.

"Spectre" picked it up as a gift for me during last years Steam summer sale. VERRRRRY addictive. I'll play it on and off for a couple of days, then drop it for a while, then pick it up again.

Great little game!

Exactly. It's really a perfect time waster... Like if you're waiting for some laundry to dry or have 15-20 minutes to kill... Awesome little game.

Warning, that game is way to addictive. Played it to the end with 5 different ships before forced uninstall to prevent me loosing more time on it!

Sounds about right... Still haven't beaten the flagship yet but I'm close.

Just wait until you do.
Then you are going to want to unlock all of those different cruisers :)
And destroy the flagship with each of them.
And suddenly you wonder why your turns are becoming less accurate ;)
