Shardin must be looking at a game in which he went up against the IRJTN. He is saying "What happen to all my ships! What happen to to my homeworld!" or something along those lines.

Cherek,
How about keeping the memebers of the BathTub Navy, up to speed on doing there turns. One your little members, is very slow on getting his turns in. Hop to it and get your boys into shape.

Is it aggravating you? It must be, since you are commenting about it. You must think you are about to do something to someone and you are in a rush to see it happen.

I don’t see why you are in such a hurry. I figured you would like to play in your game with him a little longer. After all, the faster you play, the sooner you are eliminated.

I am having lots of fun so far in No Frills2, it is off to a good start.
I think playing the Tholians helps you play the other races better.

I agree, the Tholians helps you see the other races weaknesses. But you are forgetting another important lesson that the Tholians will teach, patience.

Agreed, but if you really want to learn patience IMOP, try the privateers.

Playing the Cylons for the 1st time, and having a Tholian mind set. I have more resources, and primed to build better ships, than I could have imagined. Cheaper Mines, don't have to pay for Fighters. As the tholian I am used to having to squeeze everything I can out of a planet, as Everything costs, and you have to build fighting ships pairs.

I disagree with you about the Privateer and patience. Everyone I know, myself included that plays the Privateer are very impatient. They rush around trying to find new targets to rob. They uncloak periodically to check for minefields.

Privateers don’t set at a planet to wait for a target, except went they know a ship or fleet is headed to that planet. How you think a Privateer player would feel when he has a fleet of MBRs setting on a planet ready to rob an approaching enemy fleet, only to have the fleet lay a minefield near the planet and then bypasses the planet and the awaiting MBRs.

On the other hand, the Tholians will set on a planet and wait for approaching ship or fleet. When the approaching enemy fleet gets in range, BOOM a WEB appears. The approaching enemy fleet will be snared in the WEB. Then the Tholian will set on the planet and wait 5 or 10 turn for the enemy ships to run out of fuel. He may even come out and start laying overlapping WEB to help speed the process up and to help protect his soon to be new acquired ships. After all, we do like enemy ships to chase us. What other race like to be chased?
