Scheduled Host time was 6:20pm EST.

The host ran at 6:29pm EST.

Your turn arrived at 7:10pm EST.

Daylight savings changes have taken place in the US over the past week, maybe this messed up your schedule...

even this clock on the game-scoreboard showed the usual / old schedule!

continuing this game is useless now..

Seems that winning was not on the menu anyway, so why not use the game to try out stuff you always wanted to do - or just make a maniac bull rush with all your fleet to take a bath in the curses of your enemy? The fun in a game gets rarely messed up by a single missed turn.

:withstupid: I've got to agree with Akshamu and Albatross on this one. A single missed turn doesn't ruin a game by any stretch of the imagination. Saying that the game is lost / ruined / no point continuing because of a single turn simply smacks of sour grapes to be honest. Heck both my games I'm playing in right now I've missed multiple turns on, and the last game I won I missed a turn or two here or there. Sounds to me as if the game was never going your way in the first place, and you're merely using this as an excuse to bail before things get messy...

i don´t need to explain myself but i have to respond certain statements.

albatross and hawkeye know shit about this game i am talking about. comparing your experiences is neither helpful nor appropriate here.
winnig was a serious goal at least until my ally decided to drop due to uploading problems a couple of turns ago. i accepted the situation as a new challenge.
soon after that happend what i was waiting for since the beginning of this game. facing a serious opponent.
bringing ships in position, figuring out a plan to be in a good position for the first contact.
what happend was i missed a turn in a decisive moment. the casualties were tremendous at this point of this game..

well, missing one turn mostly does not effect a game very much. sometimes it destroys ships, hopes and a lot of work...
nevertheless i will stay in the game and try to do my best.

by the way, the clock counting down the time till hostrun is sitll showing the wrong time!!

I see that my emphasis on fun was not taken as intended...

I will check the timer method to see if I can change it to handle DST. Sorry about that.

I changed the countdown timer code. It will populate to the game pages as the pages are updated (when turns arrive for that game). Please check if the count down timer is correct now.
Of interest is people from outside USA that are not on DST and those that are on DST as well as people in USA.
