Warp Zero ship movement

In a No Frills game with no unusual configurations, how does a ship move 79 lys and still have a warp speed of 0? There are no visible towing ships and I don't think cloakers can tow and cloak the same turn. There are no ion storms pushing the ship. The fuel mass did decrease according to Echoview.

Ran out of fuel?
TimCon Attack?

That's the best I can think of right off the top of my head.
I'd have to check to confirm on the out of fuel.

Is the ship owned by The Q?

The ship is controlled by an active player.

It still has lots of fuel, but it is burning it to make the move.

so it ran out of fuel with this move and now does not have any on board, so its warp-speed is set to zero....
have fun!

Last idea I have is that it hit a web?

could have hit a normal mine as well and then slowed down.... could it?

10ly for one hit. that would mean a full stop if hit late - but i do not know if the speed is set to 0 then.
have fun!

I find it odd, and would like to know what the ship does on the next host run.

Thanks

Warp sets to zero when you run out of fuel .... yes ??

If so it ran out trying to move to X from Y hence the 79ly

Well thats my first guess after a long day 8)

Still a mystery

I moved again this turn and once more has a final speed of zero. It is too massive to move this far without fuel. It's mass did decrease the correct amount for the distance moved so the player is not cheating.

There are no minefields or webs in its path. It is not being pushed by an ion storm.

There could be a cloaked ship towing it and then recloaking the same turn, but that would not explain how the mass decreased the right amount. This would be the only tactic I could imagine for this situation.

Any ideas?

The only other explanations I can think of are:
a: towing a cloaker that refuels the visible ship.
or
b: running out of fuel with a refueling cloaker escort.

Option a) is unlikely since it should appear to be overburning low tech engines, but the fuel consumption is correct for the distance/mass moved.

Option b) is possible as long as they both set the same endpoint, except the fueless mass of the ship would then stay the same over many turns. I'll track it for a while and see if that is the case.

Depending upon how it is done, there are some gimmicks to adjust
final mass after moving so that both A&B are quite doable, but
without knowing the race/ship involved, I am tossing in options.

It's a Klingon Duck Blind

Can be pulled off by any race with a cloaker
but I've only used as the Klingons

Who is the opponent
details please
