Battle Order

Can someone please confirm my understanding of battle order is correct.

4 ships

ship #100 Fc of "hfg" no PE and not set to kill
ship #200 Fc of "afg" no PE and not set to kill
ship #300 Fc of "lfm" PE Set and not set to kill
ship #400 Fc of "lfm" PE Set and not set to kill

Fights in the follow order.

Ship 300
Ship 400
Ship 100
Ship 200

am I correct?
Just cause I am paranoid does not mean they are not out to get me.

Thats the way i see it, of course the assumption is the PE is the ship that arrives and not another 8) .

Ships fight in ID order from lowest to highest unless the fc dictates the order, either via PE or Kill mission.

Of course you hope his ships dont have a matching fc..... mkt can catch out a few players from time to time

If you mean that I am assuming I have set the PE for the race I expect to find over the planet then yes. (and if I find a 3rd race then the battle order goes back to ship # I think)
Just cause I am paranoid does not mean they are not out to get me.

Six, you missed one important thing in your simple and good explanation of avoinding identical fcs: "There are three exceptions to this rule: "NTP", "mkt" and "lfm". " ;)

And ships with "kill" set always fight before ships with fitting PE do. And ships with numerical fc fight even earlier....

lowest battlevalue goes first:

Friendly code Kill mission? Primary enemy Battle value
619 yes yes 619
631 no no 631
h45 yes yes 1000
65p yes no 1005
k p no yes 1010
m7v no no 1015

As always, Donovan knows best :D
have fun!
