Bird Vs Priv - Cloaking Attack Not Intercept

I am playing the Birdmen against the Priv.

I arrived over a Priv planet this turn uncloaked and took the planet.
I see a Priv ship in orbit. It does not appear to have any fuel. (otherwise I would have attacked it)

If I cloak my ship this turn but leave the PE set to Priv will this leave me open to being robbed when I attack the ship while cloaked next turn?
Just cause I am paranoid does not mean they are not out to get me.

No.
If you're cloaked, default settings, and your ship is undamaged,
then you cannot be robbed.

Question about that. What about if the ship PE is set PRIV, mission is set cloak. The host has the "Cloaked ships can attack" is set to Yes, is the cloaked ship still safe from being robbed before the attack?

Yes.
If a ship is cloaked, it cannot be robbed.
Even if it has PE=Priv.

Thanks, I'll rember that since I've started attacking the Privateer in another game.

Being able to cloak and still fight with rob immunity is what
makes the Darkwing such a nasty anti-pirate weapon.

As long as the ES=0, the DW just wrecks pirate ships with
near immunity.

Bane, correct me if I'm wrong, but does Rob not happen before Cloaking?
If the Bird ship is un-cloaked this turn, and the Pirates has a cloaked ship there as well, that ship will Rob before the Bird ship can cloak in the new turn?

Or should I not have said anything, cause it's a stupid comment?

The ability of privateers to rob cloaked ships depends on the game configuration. One may see this on the front page of the HOST configuration messages. It's almost set to "NO", which is why we take it for granted that Privateers cannot rob cloaked ships.
