VCR exporter/viewer?

Does anyone know of a utility that can export VCRs so the battle
can be watched without sharing the entire RST? Perhaps with a
VCR viewer?

I vaguely recall there being such a program but I could be delusional.

Man, it's quiet in this thread. Are those crickets I hear??

Seriously - I've never heard of or tried that VCR app.

If you want to share all VCRs, just give your ally the VCRx.DAT file you get from unpacking. Otherwise, PCC and CCBSim can save individual VCRs into files using Ctrl+W.

You can watch those individual files using CCBSim ("ccbsim -f file.vcr") or PlayVCR ("playvcr file.vcr"). Place them into the game directory so that CCBSim finds the right config and shiplist.

PlayVCR will do the Trick.
Even easier would be a PHOST game and just share combat, and nothing else.
