TKF and PHost 4

Hello all,

I didn't succeed in settings up a phost 4 game with TKF. On the TKF web site it is stated that TKF works with phost 3 - but I thought I give it a try.

Anyone has tried that too? I've read about compatibility issues with phost 4 and old add-ons...

cheers,

BastianWilly

The Killing Floor hasn't been supported in years and that's unfortunate.

There are a couple of alternatives.

Kenneth Strom make a alternate mutli-ship host ad-don called Tactical VCR. I ran a couple of games with it and it was stable. You can find it in his FTP area here.

The author of PHost Stefan Reuther has also made a native multi-ship combat add-on for PHost, however it's in beta and we've had a tough time trying to get enough people to do a test game. I'm not sure if he's done any new work on it in the last couple of years.

Thanks for the summary! I guess I should go for TVCR2? There are some TVCR files too.

I will try it out

Havok is referring to FLAK; very cool.
By far the most pleasant multiship combat replacement for vcr/pvcr.

I would like to play a full game with FLAK.

oooook!!!

I took a look at FLAK and it seems by far the best way to go.

Finally I'm happy about this multiship combat thing :)

If we have enough interest we can put one together.

Anyone know if the software has been updated?

Well - I haven't played this game for 10 years about :S
I'm just getting started to play a small game among friends with about 5 people, but maybe I taste blood and come back more actively.
