Echoview and Allied Enemies

Post by Gavan » Fri Jun 29, 2012 11:55 pm

How do I tell Echoview that two races are allied together but not with me?

Echoview keeps showing two of my enemies minefields destroying each other's mine fields but this does not happen as both races are allied with each other.
Just cause I am paranoid does not mean they are not out to get me.

Have you tried under Tools - Alliance Status?

I don't think that option is there.
If you keep ships in the area on minesweep duty EV should pickup the correct mine radius from the in game messages.

Well that explains why I can not find it.

EV is doing fine with the current turn, it is only the next turn it is having issues with .

You can tell Echoview about alliances under Tools / Alliance Status. Select the race that you wish to mark as allied with another race, and tick the 'offer to' box of that other race. Then do the same with the other race, and you're set.

Thanks for the idea but no luck.

The mine fields are still destroying each other when they should not be when I look a turn into the future.

Only way to have it predict correctly is if it can see that both races are allied
