I was using Winplan, Echoview and Plant Command Center )PCC) on Windows 10, 32 bit, with no problems at all. I recently upgraded to Win 10, 64 bit with a clean install and while PCC seems to work, Winplan doesn't. Getting a error about running a 16 bit program... There is something I was playing with called Winplan32 which seemed to start to run but required certain OCX files. I supplied the Threed32.ocx but am stuck now with the spin32.ocx.

Hi Tei,

Check with Bitmask over at the WinPlan32 page -

Also you might want to setup XP Mode on your Windows 10 machine to use the other 16 bit programs (or via Virtual Box or VMWare).

Winplan still use some old ocx controls that are no longer distributed with all Windows 7 and later versions. If you see an error about a Component threed32.ocx, then download WinplanRequiredOCX (300Kb) at and extract the contents to you c:\Windows\system\ folder. Right click on the WinplanRegisterOCX.bat and select Run as Administrator to register the controls.
