Welcome to Leaf on the Wind 6

Leaf On The Wind 6 is a Capture the Flagship game. Each player gets a special ship that they must protect at all costs. Upon loss of this ship your opponent captures up to half of your assets. Game Runs 3 days a week for 1st 25 turns, and when all in.

Mods: Flagship, No Allies, DelMess & Teleport.
Map: Custom.
Random HW.
Extra Rich HW, Random Normal Planets, VH Pop, VH Money.
Starbase @ HW w/ 2 ships.
TimHost 3.22.47.
Rank To Join: Planetary Bucc.

don't the player get a list of all flagships ?
is the flagship a specific ship for each race on this host ?

never played a flagship-szenario here before. perhaps you can publish a list with the flagship-hulls for each race, if it is in every game the same...

The flagship is normally a Merlin Alchemy ship.
The IDs are not published, so you can build a "few" dummies if you wish :lol:

Here is a painfully learned lesson. A single dark wing will kill a Merlin flagship and regardless of how many overlapping minefields you have, you are not safe. You don't want to lose by surprise, make them fight you in open space. It took nine years for me to recover from my last flagship game.

A list of the flagships is not given out, however it is a high end ship of each fleet. For example the Feds get a Nova for their flagship. The Birdmen get a Darkwing, the Robots get a Golum etc.

I have also set the absorption rate for conquering a race to the default of 50%.

please tell me how!
he can park that dark wing somewhere in space.
he don't need fuel to cloak
he is not affected by ion-storms
he is immune to anti-cloak
a popper need to be a the same spot - how much is the probability ?
webmines could drain him out of fuel after a very long time...

do i miss something ?

Ok simple solution to the Evil Birdmen - point me in his direction and i'll help even things up by depriving him of fuel.

I was surprised when I discovered the Flag ship was not a Merlin as the last two games of this Scenario I played they were both Merlins.

I am looking forward to starting this game

No Ka worries Sinner. I had a game where i joined as the wrong race and couldn't bear to stick with playing the privvies, so dropped and joined this game.

Really surprised the bots were not taken. Pretty good option for a game like this - although the birdman dark wing is going to be bloody hard to find! lol

The birds do have an advantage with the Darkwing being its Flagship for this game.

I miss the idea of a Merlin especially with the Feds
