Have you recently tried another combat viewer/simulator, other than PlayVCR?

i just tried ccbsim - didn't work, too...

do you have some other suggestions with download links ? that would be great.

edit says i found the mistake - ccbsim works now ! :D

You could do others after you a favor by describing how "playvcr doesn't work, too." looks like, and what you did to fix CCBSim it. Heck, if it's something I can fix in CCBSim and/or PlayVCR, I might even directly implement it there... Otherwise, PlayVCR should work on every Windows from '95 up to 7, and I don't know any reason why it wouldn't work on 8 (not in Metro, of course).
