He did respond to a planets related question not that long ago. Havoc's power games shiplist came from him, from some backup of games he played at Spaceport Hamburg.Quapla wrote:Yes, I know. But he is out of buisiness for the last two years.
I have the sources and ported them so that they work with the latest VPA.
Yes, he still responds - but has quit playing AND developing anything for Planets. Too sad, since Ufo4VPA is really worth to be used and improved!Rimstalker wrote:He did respond to a planets related question not that long ago.Quapla wrote:Yes, I know. You are right, I am not paying attention. Will read up! Thanks.Quapla wrote:Well, please read the docs of Ufo4VPA at http://www.chiasma.de/vgap/ufo4vpa/.
It does nothing of the above, but much much more that VPA and even PCC or Winplan does not do. (Very handy for minefields)
I have been using Ufo4VPa for the last 10 years or so.
But with the release of VPA 3.58 (beginning of VPA-Team) Ufo had some miscalculations with the mines - nothing severe but sometimes nasty. (To be exact: VPA fixed the long awaited decay).
Now I fixed Ufo4VPA again not to calculate decay, because VPA calculates it correctly. Because Ufo4VPA patches the VPAx.DB directly ( ) more bugs can be possible.
