ion storm

hi,all

do you believe in miracles and coincidences ?
why the outcome of the game decides ion storm that appeared out of nowhere ?
the strange thing is that he is perfect, has a suitable size and direction of movement.

what a crazy idea to catch cloak ship in a gravitational well! however, the enemy simultaneously with the appearance of the storm, began to do it...

and the enemy torpedo ship came exactly at the edge of the storm, to lay the mines, that will not mine sweep.

these coincidences look very strange.

players can influence the ion storm in this game?

...all this is frustrating and makes the question.

No, players cannot influence ion storms in this game.
This is all by chance

In principle ion storms are random. Given that, they indeed can shift the balance of power in a game - locally at least.
Player controlled ion storms however are possible with addons only, Jupiter for example. In your game there is no way to do that.

this is overkill !

that is impossible to resist. it is a deadlock situation! using this addon (ion storm) for the game master should think about this effect.

for example, allow sweep web for the Colonies.

that's what i say everytime: ionstorms are really unbalancing this game so much !!!
this is a big point of coincidence - no one can influence this point of the game.

when you get one - you are messed up. lucky one if there is no one.

and here they are in EVERY game...

For my part I like the little extra thrill ion storms imply, but no offense guys, in case they manage to ruin my game in total (which already happened) the only remainder is to admit that I just did a very bad overall job.

The Silent Night series does not have ion storms. You should join the next one then:grin:

Taking away Ion storms is taking away advantage from the Birds, Robot and Crystal. I think they are a nice addition ;P

I'm evil like a dog who has been deprived of tasty bone!
I'm talking about the game 350
we successfully attacked the enemy Alliance robot and crystal
the victory was close...
and now, ion storm ruined everything
this kind of madness. losers suddenly had a great luck.

You know, I actually have a dog and am quite happy that it's not evil.

See it from the bright side, since you're none of those losers you hate so much, next time you gonna really kick butt. Right?

If you like ion storms, try the next Fall Festival of Death. This game had way more than the average amount of Storms. As Robot, I was OK with it. It was the only way to get Lizard out my new planets (his old ones). Oddly for the whole game, no storm crossed the Privateer home planets. I was waiting the entire game to go in.
