Each to their own. I just like the extra capabilities that Phost offers.

Shardin, lets not make it too complicated for him. Somepeople have trouble understanding Phost with its extra commands, friendly codes and options.

Phost is great, it might make it easier for him, if we just keep it to a standard ship list and 800 or 900 ships. I don't like plist much myself either.

No. TLIST. :P

Yes, I'm completely nuts about TLIST. I dunno. CoM seems to start with a lousy position a lot. Having a usable Medium strength ship just makes SOOO much of a difference. It also makes ships for other races usable. I just hate that like 2/3 of any ship list is just a waste.

RAH, RAH, RAH, SIS, BOOM, BAH, YAAAAAY TLIST!

</cheerleading>(for this post)

Are you guys getting sick of me being a cheerleader for TLIST yet?

I really don't care which ship list is used.

I don't hear anyone arguing that statement.

What are the advantages to T-list? Plist has been a pain, but not the end of the world.

I would still like to try Plist using the light version. There will be more battles than in the heavy version. I was really disappointed with the heavy version.

Take a look here: http://www.geocities.com/the_vagabund/TList/tlist.html

They have a list of the changes made to the ships, but last time I looked at it it wasn't terribly accurate. I think the best way to see what is changed is to DL it and look at it with CCSHIPS. The changes are not major, but the differences make a lot of the previously unusable ships wirth using.

Oh, as for PHOST, I'm not terribly crazy about the default setting of 1KT/LY for fuel production for ramscoops...

First off, the default in 4.0i is 2kt/ly. Secondly, the default can be changed change by the host from 0kt to 100kt.
