5v5 or 4v4 or 3v3 interesting.

3v3v3 (if there was some way to forbid and enforce a 6v3 situation)

Cherek,
Fed, Gorn, Bird, Fascist and Tholian are obvious torpers.
&
Empire, Bots, Rebs & CofM are obvious fighters.

Where would you categorize the Borg?

Pirates are extinct, not an issue.
I might be wrong in my thinking of the Borg, but if one team wants the Borg, the other team can pick torps or fighters. I'm willing to listen to any agreements about that.

The 3v3v3 would be interesting, the 6v3 can not be avoided except in the game you or someone else though of a couple of months ago.

Interesting way to put that.

I like that solution.
IF team 1 wants All borg, Team 2 can pick torp or fighter.

It should have been arguments not agreements. Maybe I should have said "I'm willing to listen to any agreements or arguments about that." :D

How about a 4v4 game instead. That way one team doesn't end up fighting 2 teams. Use a rift map, one side picks, race 1st, and the other side gets to pick quadrants 1st.
Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference.
The US Marines don't have that problem.

The game will be a 3v3 or 4v4 or 5v5.

Okay everyone, we have two conversations going on about PHost, in two different areas. I've created a new forum, PHost Questions and Answers > Discussions about a PHost Game

Since this is going to be a PHost game as opposed to SRace,
this one holds more interest to me than does a standard Phost.

Okay, Shardin must be rubbing off on you or are you saying it interest you because it is a team game?

BANE, if you are interested, go to PHost Questions and Answers > Discussions about a PHost Game.
I created the forum because I was having trouble keeping track if we are talking about Vanilla PHost or the Team Game and who said said they were interested in what type of game.

Here's why I find this more interesting to me than standard phost.

#1: I've played Phost before, it's not a new thing for me.
Rusty yes...but a reread of docs and in game play gets rid of rust.

#2: It's a switched race Phost game...3/4/5 on a team playing same
race versus another 3/4/5 team with a different same race. I've not
played in a switchrace game in a long long time. The concept intrigues
me. It will be interesting to see how different players handle the exact
same race.

#3: Phost tips from the Phost experts (I don't count myself as one) are
just as effective in this game as a standard Phost.

Does that help?

As many PHost games I've been in, I still refer to the docs.

I was setting at my desk at work when the idea of the game hit me. This is the first time I've ever heard of a team game where the teams are of the same race.

As I tell people before the game start (this isn't directed at you but at the first time PHost players), read the PHost Questions and Answers > Differences between PHost and Host and read the docs. PHost does some things differently than THost. New players try to play PHost just like THost and that is their mistake. I forgot who said it, "PHost is like THost on steroids."

Oh yeah, before I forget. I will answering questions, also. I believe Shardin said he wanted to play and he is pretty good at PHost too. If he can play, he will more than likely be on the other team.
