Don't go there Burnerboy, it was a Phost game. JOE loves setting up PHOST.Burnerboy wrote:I played in a team game on Ed's Battlestar Command a few years ago that allowed each team to pick whatever race they desired. That would be either a Phost or an SRace game.Burnerboy wrote:I played in a team game on Ed's Battlestar Command a few years ago that allowed each team to pick whatever race they desired. Each team had Borg, etc. Do not remember how Ed set it up, what host he ued, etc., but it was fun.
Teamspeak is good. I use it for WoW. If you can't get everyone on that, you might try Skype, it also has excellent voice communication. I've talked with 4-5 people over it and had no problems over time like I have with Yahoo.casebolt wrote:Id like to set up a" Voice chat" on top of a instant message program. The Voice chat program is called TEAM SPEAK , I have a friend that would hook us up with our own "war room" . Team games on this level involves many complexed cordinated turns that have no room for error. IF we want to cut down on our TIME involved with game Voice chat or phone calls are key.
We simply talk faster than we can type! Team speak does require a 5-10 dollar mic , most people allready have one that came with their PC.
Most of the time, I'd give you what you want, but due to a promise I made, no new games until I finish four games, three here and one at another site.casebolt wrote:Thems fightin words!!!
I don't recall a ping. But I do remember once 3 or more people got in there it degraded quickly. Very quickly. I haven't tried it since the latest version of their software came out. Have been using Skype instead.Enemy#1 wrote:Havok,
