Rich money...how much?

No Pirate, No Borg, No CofM...
Anyone else we want to eliminate?
Hey, E1,
How about this fall, perhaps we test drive the duel format over
at RCWorld just to run through it and report it here as well as a
comparison?

Hmm... maybe I'll bother Cherek for that?

Ok, so after Sept.20:
No Borg, No Pirate, No CofM.
Rich Start...$15k?
Rare Universe.

Which map? #1 or #2

Approx 550x700, approx 550 ly from hw to hw
  2. No special addons
  3. Challenged person can either pick race 1st or defer 1st pick to challenger; Privateers are out unless previously agreed upon by both players
  4. Victory condition is TBD by mutual agreement prior to game start
  5. Defaults that will be in place unless both players agree beforehand:
    • Max 200 ships in universe
    • Random rich universe (minerals & native)
    • Extra rich homeworlds
    • Very High population (3,000,000)
    • High starting money (5000)
    • Host runs every 72 hours, or when both turns are in
  6. Any attempt to colonize the "nonexistent" planets (near 0,0 and 4000,4000) or attack/capture the "nonexistent" ships (near 0,0) results in game forfeiture
Victory Condition?

And which two races are you choosing to be in the game?

I will defer and let Bane choose the 1st race.
Little reward for his hard week, Apronboy needs a pat on the back.
Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference.

Well, with you being the "challenger" don't you think it is my choice
who gets to pick first?

Yep, rule #3: Challenged person can either pick race 1st or defer 1st pick to challenger; Privateers are out unless previously agreed upon by both players

Also, note that I just changed the host run frequency bullet per discussions from the last duel game. Now the host runs regardless of if all/any turns are in, unless the players agree otherwise & give appropriate notice (in other words, a player can't constantly hold up the game).
