Casebolt: Crucible II?

Hey Casey,

I've been pondering what VGAP games I want to play.

There is one game across 15 years that has never taken place.
(Ok, there are a number of games that haven't... )

I've played against every primary and most subs of SWAT with
one exception... YOU.

Same general setup as "Crucible I" with regards to mastering.
$5,000
3M Population
Rare Universe
No free ships
T7 Engines
Your choice of maps.
Homeworld full kill mode.
VPMovie (or WB's work in progress)
VPNews (or WB's work in progress)
No Addons other than Homeworld.
You pick the two races in the game, I pick from those two.

Fast paced game, daily till T20, then 5x/week till T40, then 3x.
Pause for upcoming holidays as needed.

So, are you up for it?

Hmm,
I hope your nonreply is due to your pondering which
two races you want to use for this game...

Lots of interesting combos and Casey's been around the block.
I am sure he could pick a good pairing.

He may have been around the block, as long as he hasn't been on the street corner.......

  2. No special addons
  3. Challenged person can either pick race 1st or defer 1st pick to challenger; Privateers are out unless previously agreed upon by both players
  4. Victory condition is TBD by mutual agreement prior to game start
  5. Defaults that will be in place unless both players agree beforehand:
    • Max 200 ships in universe
    • Random rich universe (minerals & native)
    • Extra rich homeworlds
    • Very High population (3,000,000)
    • High starting money (5000)
    • Host runs every 72 hours, or when both turns are in
  6. Any attempt to colonize the "nonexistent" planets (near 0,0 and 4000,4000) or attack/capture the "nonexistent" ships (near 0,0) results in game forfeiture

I joined Black Lodge a month ago... it finally started.
Should be a weird game.
Jumpgate, never played.
Lurkers, never played.
Crystalline Entity, never played.

I thought you told me you weren't intested in this setup but would
rather do a 2man game again.
:-k

It sank as a PHOST game. I need to rebuild it as a TimHost game.
