I also play UT (unrealtournament) and the most lasting of the series so far is UT99 and in my case instagib....... but after all these years of playing the same maps over and over again, i have to leave for months at a time as it becomes dead sh1t boring.

Standard vga games are likewise after years and years of playing.
Addons make you think, not only about your race, but also the enemies. If it wasnt for past great sites like spaceport hamburg, and armins penchant for addons and diff ship lists, i may have left vga sometime ago.

What am i getting at,... simple... old skool aint necessarily kool anymore. And Havoks no frills games are pretty much old skool.

That's correct.

I like the way you worded your message Six. I feel the same way when it comes to VGAP.

So I try and stagger things.... Old standard games along with newer mod filled games with, addons, etc... The old are the most popular though. NF games fill in a day here. The others take a week or so most of the time... Even longer at other times.

In the end though, I like what the addons bring to the game.

Can't remember the last time I played the Feds, think it was the andromeda tournament. That's my first choice.

Right after I signed up for NF43 I slapped myself for being stupid. You would think I'd learn at my age.....

Besides, I'm holding out for that Tlist, Race+ SB+ game when a couple of my current games wrap up. :D

You can deliver it and we'll drink them together.

I still gotta setup the pool hall party one of these days this fall.

Who's interested?

I guess the only difference is the standard map. Although the last round of no-frills aren't entirely "no-frills" (if you consider disunited kingoms a "frill"). No complaints from me though.
I once told ][avok that they weren't No Frills... just Low Frills... But close enough...
