Daily Run Game

Post by Sysop » Sat Dec 10, 2005 4:19 pm

Is anyone interested in a game that runs 7 days a week? I've had a few requests for one.
Best Regards,

Joe

I would be.

At least one that ran daily for the first 20-25 turns and then maybe slowed down to 4 or 5 turns a week.

The 2 or 3 turn a week games are just way too slow especially in the first few turns where it only takes 5-10 minutes tops to play it. Yet, there is almost always someone who doesn't get their turn in until the last minute.
Best Wishes,

Just like the old days on the BBS. Turns ran daily!

Wish I had the time I used to have :)

Hi All,
First post and all that.

A daily game?

For the first 14-21 turns and then 3x per week would be of interest
to me after the 1st of the year.

I might even consider a daily game from start to finish if it is the only
game I am in.

I like blind games too.

While I like the thought of it, I'm obligated to 2 other games right now, and 15 other daily things. I've got to pass. BUT, I am happy to setup something if you all can come up with enough players for a game... And it doesn't have to be 11... if you only get 8 or 9, we can killrace the others, or put a CPlayer on them. We'll call it Daily Destruction :)

Joe

i would be interested in playing the Daily Destruction Game as soon as one of my 5 games ends, which should be soon as some of you know.

How about anyone else? We could pretty half way fill a daily game with players now.

Would that be running daily for the entire game, or just in the early stages of the game?

Daily for the first maybe fifteen turns would be great, then drop to three a week for I don't know how long.

Three a week isn't really a big problem for me in Acropolis right now and I've got like 50 planets and 75 ships to deal with. I suspect it is going to get more difficult for me and less difficult for other players as the game progresses though....

I would be interested once Trillian gets a better grip on the game and Acropolis ends. (She's doing quite well.)

Better than you in No Frills - V: 1st place vs. 7th place....

Yeah, she's doing pretty well.
