How can you aviod the lengthy turns for a daily game after a few weeks of playing?

Is a REAL daily game possible?!?

any ideas

It is. But I would recomend not playing in any other games as the daily game progresses.

][avok, I think you want a real daily game more than anybody. Trying to recapture a bit of that lost youth? *grins*

Not me, it wasn't my idea.

But here are the players that have said they will play a daily game.

Snake Vargas, & B A N E.

Other's that have expressed interested are: Hennef, Dark Dimensions, Fletch, Armendariz, typhoon & Silent_Master.

That's 8. I'd be highly surprised if Static didn't join a game like this since he can't get enough turns any day of the week :)

So all we really need a is a couple of more players to make this happen.

Joe

Thats understandable. .. will the 4 missed turns get booted rule still apply? Lord forbid that I miss another turn, but curious to what you [all] think?

i dont think my other games will affect this one especially at the start.

That's a good topic. The 4 missed turns in a row turn will not apply in the daily game.

Miss four turns in a row and you probably won't need to be booted. lol

So, do we want the original map or another for a daily?
I could see merits to a couple different types.

My biggest objection to the original map is depending upon the setup.
ie: LR Circle, some folks get hosed on start spot.
Thoughts?

Circle is ok, Ring would be cool or just another wrapped square?

I've not played the Battlestar (delphi?) tourney map...anyone who has, thoughts?

I was thinking of a randomly generated map with a sphere addon.

Hey Guys,
I am really keen to be involved in a game like this but unfortunately an unexpected, but welcome, transfer of workplace on the near horizon is going to prevent me from being able to guarantee consistant participation every day. Sorry if you were counting on me to make up the full list of players, I'm sure the list will fill anyway. Wow  with 280 members on site and growing, I'm sure there will be 11 who are all keen.
I will watch the scores and forums with great interest (please post regularly with all the traditional trash talk etc) and will daydream of what could have been.... :(

The Daily Destruction pic came out pretty good. I like it too.

As for the BoI game, I'm wondering if you're just afraid of Mojo

Whats the rough ETA on the Daily D game?

are we still looking for reliable recruits or do we have 11?

even after we get our 11 players, we need to decide for certain on addons.

~in anticipation
