Race Builder Competition

Before we set off to start the next game in the UnNatural series, I would like to invite you all to come build your own race.

We are having a competition to find the top 5 races that you players can build. The winning 5 races will then be available as predefined options for any new players to use and customize if they want.

We are looking for
* originality
* themes
* good options
* fun options
* or just something that you would like to play.

If you are interested, go over to the race builder page and submit your race
You are only allowed up to 2 entries per person.

(This version is not using PHost Experience, we might have a competition for that one at a later stage)

Correct. The Rob mission does not exist

Ditto for webmines right? They don't drain, their only purpose is that a ship stops exactly where it hits a sticky mine yes?

yes. No web mines. They are called sticky mines 'cause they stick but do not drain.

Interesting to hear that the Lurkers emanate from the Babylon 5 series.

I never saw the Lurkers in action on Babylon 5, having decided that Babylon 5 was the devil's work and an abomination.

Babylon 5 was an excellent show but you had to get through the first season (and a couple of personal changes) before it found it's stride. It was a very character oriented show and it had 5 year story arc. The first season spent a lot of time doing that core character building.

ok they are pretty cool! Not sure any of the ships Bitmask has included would go close to emulating them though - maybe the darkwing?

The race would need to be built from scratch and they don't have enough ships shown so you would probably have to include some of their allies in the mix like the Draak's. It could still work though. They were big on the psychic side as well so would probably work best in the Evil Empire slot.

Thank god we are allowed two! I have started at least 10 times now - but the tradeoffs are doing my head in!!!!

i have a question about 3 special features:

quietus - ore condenser
skyfire - repairs
automa - full weaponry

what are these 3 doing ??
