Man talk about having some option in a game though. :P :P   :P :P

It's definitely going to be a TimHost game.

I'd actually like to give a Plist->Plist Heavy game a run some time.
I recall playing one Plist lite way back and I'd like to see who can
run an economy strong enough to handle Plist->Plist Heavy.

Wonder if that would get interest.
Perhaps I should go review Plist->Plist Heavy.

My understanding is that would be a very very long game.

Wuh...I recall correctly.
My last phost game was a Plist lite and it was coincidentally my last
game as the borg. I remember making a horde of Erasers.

As for PList Heavy, man that would take some serious work.

Yes, I played in a PList heavy game a while back, turn 80 is when ship limit was hit

T80, that sounds GREAT!

When I quit, the games I played generally hit between T20-T30
and too many of those builds were those disgusting sdsfs.

Were I ever to redo the original shiplist, I'd remove the sdsf and
the mdsf and replace them with something that was both useful
and cost enough that folks would not build them just to chew up
slots.

I suspect, I'd just delete them.

I don't think that Phost would change a Fhost game much. Phost would just make for more interesting minelaying, and allies (as far as I know).

What would be really cool is to let Phost run wild with open switch race selection. One can also increase the ship limit although I think 999 ships is too many.

750 seems to be a good number for ships. Phost would make for interesting options with Fhost and the working of Alliances.
Tei your a phost fan how do you feel about a Fhost game?

Ps. I will be in West Caldwell the 18-20 of April,

OK, how about PList->Heavy and 999 ship limit? You'd NEVER get to the ship limit.

Are you seriously thinking about doing a revision of the ship list BANE? Because I keep toying with the idea.

Check out the SDSF and MDSF in TList. The SDSF has 150 cargo and the MDSF has 300. I think I would go farther than that, really. I'd make both more expensive to build, keep them at one engine, and give them 275 and 600 cargo, respectivly. They would both be much more expensive in terms of minerals and money, though. Enough so that you would only build a SDSF if you just couldn't build anything else and you would prefer to build a LDSF rather than two MDSFs. With 275Kts of cargo room a SDSF would actually be more useful hauling cargo than most of the light cruisers in the game.

The other thing I hate about the original ship list is that the only engines worth building are 7s and TWs. PList's engines are a tremendous improvement over the original engine specs. Don't tell me about building ships with 6s on them. 6s suck fuel like mad if you're moving any kind of mass at all.

Maybe I'll start a thread on this...

I'm in a F host game (Apocolypse) now and am enjoying it. Unfortunately I'm maxed out with games and untill one ends I can't start another.

Unfortunately I'm out of town then.

Mineral Density?
I prefer Normal Homeworlds and Rare universes...
Thoughts?

The problem with rare settings, they tend to favor the Lizards and Privateers. I was thinking about normal universe.

IF we go with the Rare, Bane gets the EE.
