Jickevanny Quadrant; Distress call

I just received a Distress call this turn:

(-e0000)<< Distress Call! >>

15 fighers have
caught fire and exploded!
All fighters destroyed.
We are taking heavy damage!

Can anyone explain this to me and are we going to have similar problems. I am using 3.6.63 for Windows 32 bit. I am also playing in two other MAX games and we are way beyond turn 15 with no issues.

Sounds like a possible issue with the custom shiplist not being correct. Make sure you pust the 5 dat files from the shiplist into your VPWork folder that you play in.
