There goes the Romulans

Post by Gavan » Thu Jan 15, 2015 12:28 am

There goes the Romulans.

This is going to be a different game now that one of the more powerful races in the past games is about to be played by the computer.

I can put Space Lord on it if you don't want The Q to play the Birdmen.

What's the difference between Starlord and The Q?

Space Lord is a computer player that only uses the RST to play, just like a human, vs the Q and all the other players that use the game data on the host side to play.

You can read about all the computer players on this URL.

I find that spacelord do not always work with custom shiplist.
Give it a try for AQ. If it does not work we can always revert back to the Q if need be.

Or maybe we need to look for a replacement player?

I would be glad to take the Romulans... If I can keep my Orions too :-'

Something about an Orion Warbird that just warms the heart, Seems I remember Gavan introducing Raven2 to that combination once in the past  Tipping point for the first AQ =D>

Seriously folks... If you are a Romulan fan, this game has one of the strongest Romulan shiplists I've ever experienced. Andor probably left a pretty decent set-up before he disappeared from all his games unexpectedly for personal reasons.

Get it now before the computer player has a chance to screw it up. Don't let one of the power races in the AQ scenario waste away! =D>

Hey guys, I am playing a No Frills game already and promised myself not to take more than one game at a time, but Logain has tempted me... I am a kind of VGAP fundamentalist and find this setup quite weird, but hopefully I'll rate better than the bot.

I checked the game's page and the Romulan slot appears occupied yet though

Ni Nick,

SpaceLord is a computer player.

Just email Havok / Bitmask to get the Romulan spot.
