Hammer & Anvil is a showdown between the carrier races for supremacy of the Monkey Cluster. Turns run 3 times a week until turn 25, then twice a week or when all turns are in. Game is open ended with winner chosen by vote or last player standing.

Mods: Allies (Xenophobia), Teleport, RacePlus, Machines of Yore.
Map: Monkey Cluster.
Custom HW Placement.
Extra Rich HW, Random Normal Planets, Very High Pop, Very High Money.

There are 5 spokes on the map and I had to fill that last slot. It was a toss up between the Lizards and Cyborg. I felt the Lizards were more in line with the other races and they have the Madonzilla. It's not the best carrier but it can take a ton of punishment. The Cyborg have the Biocide which is a dreadnaught of a ship, but I still thought their assimilation was a little to overwhelming for this setup and would have tipped the balance in their favor with so few races in the game.

Yeah that sounds about right. Will be a tough scenario for the lizard, but interesting.

You could have taken the privateer instead of the lizard. I'm sure he would have a lot of carriers in no time :lol:

Too bad I'm full already, but I'm sure this one will fill up fast :)

That would depend on the player...

You know though... there's an addon called Banzai that makes fighters from the Red Wind Kamikaze's.

It's very tempting, but I'm having trouble with my 3 games already, so I'm going to have to pass this on up for now :-(
