Welcome to Alpha Quadrant 9

Alpha Quadrant 9 is a Star Trek Race / Ship mod set in Next Generation / DS9 era.
Game runs 3 times a week until turn 25, then twice a week or when all turns are in.
Victory Condition - Domination - Last race standing or upon agreement by players.

Mods: Allies (1 Ally), Starbase+, Teleport, Crystaline Entity.
Shiplist: Alpha Quadrant 2.1.
Map: Custom.
Homeworlds: Random.
Extra Rich HW. Random Normal Planets. High Pop. Very High Money.
Starbase @ HW w/ 2 ships.
TimHost 3.22.47.

If you're not familiar with Alpha Quadrant then I also suggest taking a look at the Alpha Quadrant Scenario layout before joining the game.

There are 3 zip files attached with your turn and a galactic map. Unpack the zip files into your game folder. Put the map there as well.

Hi ][avoc,

nice to see AQ9 finally up and and about to start.
Regarding our last discussion about modding AQ in order to make the Maquis more playable, Clauser made some changes to the shiplist. (v2.1 which you seem to use here)

But in addition to the mods on the shiplist we came to the arrangement, that a new AQ game should be played as originally intended by Clauser, meaning the only race which is allowed to build fighters in space is the Maquis.

I've just browsed through the Config settings where I could see that Rebels, Robots and Colonies are allowed to build fighters in space! I think this should be adjusted to only Conoies (Maquis) are allowed to build fighters in space.

@Clauser: Did I miss something here? Does the AQ9 HCONFIG meet your original game settings?

Hi ][avok, please kick the Maquis player (Harcourt Fenton Mudd) in AQ9! He has already been missing 2 turns out of 4 and he is not playing at all (no ships built, no planets gathered). I really don't know why folks like him are actually joining games! I've seen him "play" in another game, missing every other turn.

This is a bad game style in my opinion, he is just grabbing game slots... So please kick him and pause the game until an other player has replaced him.

It's early enough to jump in for a real player to build a healthy economy!
