Anyone else catch an obscure number reference, particularly "next generation" fans?

I saw it also.

I agree, the ending caught me by surprise, also.

The ending surprized me too. We knew the Cylons were pretty self righteous, and now they are really acting like humans!

me thinks the earlier models of cylons are going to eventually
see the humaniform cylons to be just as flawed as humans.

It's pretty obvious to me that Tory is starting to enjoy being a Cylon.

Theories as to why Tory blew her out of the shaft? Is it all about the next generation of Cylon/human babies? Can nothing get between that mission to unite Cylons and Man? Or was it simply a matter of keeping the final four's identities a secret no matter what?

For a long time, I hypothesized the Cylon "plan" wasn't to eliminate humanity, but rather to replace it - and become God's favorite.

In order to accomplish this goal, the Cylons reasoned they needed "souls", which their experiments showed humans possessed and Cylons lacked. Hence, the attempts to mate with humans and the importance of Hera.

Just a hypothesis.

Now the plan is unravelling.

I'm still waiting for the city of light to show up. There's been clues about angels and so forth in every episode this season so far.

...and I'm waiting for Iblis to show up.

...Iblis = Cylon god?

It's scary how much we think we know - especially since writers may not feel compelled to stick with the original story line. I hope things come together logically, but I'm also prepared for disappointment.

BTW, if Iblis does show up, I hope he isn't the ridiculous charecter from that last series. I'd rather he is reimagined like Baltar was.

You know what's so funny is the Cylons have a single god while the humans are a bunch of idol worshiping pagans.

Except for "saint" Baltar and his following. Now that's irony!

Yeah but Baltar only says he believes in the one god because Six scared the crap out of him a season or two back. I'm not so sure he believes in anything.

It's certain Baltar believes in surviving, or at least he did until this season.
