Problem Hulls:

Deep Space SC__3__1__4__-__-___10___30__450___200__190___1___1__29
I don't like the DSS but it can perform as a scout or as an armored
MDSF with better range. It's got a purpose, I just don't use it.
No change.

Armored TR_____4__2__1__-__-__126___68__250___200___35__12__14__16
Armored TR_____4__2__1__-__-__126___68__325___400___35__12__14__16

An armored mdsf with 2 engines.
Double the cargo, add some fuel.

Sage FF________5__2__4__-__2___79__100__150____50__170__63__12__27
Sage FF________5__2__5__-__3___79__100__150____50__170__63__12__27

Modest upgrade.

Iron Lady FF___9__2__8__-__2___99__150__210____60__290__23__22__47
Iron Lady FF___9__2__8__-__2__198__150__210____60__290__23__22__47

Double the crew.

agreed on the freighters and the lady. but keep in mind, that we are also wanna change the sdsf and mdsf (perhaps), so you might add even more cargo to the armored trans.

why not make the sage-class another fighter-ship? rebel has the guardian and the cygnus as frontline-torper and the lady and tranq for patrol-/sweeper-/cruiser-duties. a sage with slightly higher mass and 4 beams 4 FBs would make up for the medium-carrier Zaphod wants so badly for the colonials.

How about give Aries to Rebel? Also, colonial do not need aries. They have cobols already. To play rebels as it must, the rebels need a hyperjump to more than 350 LY. -I.E hyperjump twice. This need a lot of fuel. If the rebels can make aries at the any new base, then the falcons can bring fuel more than it eat for the 2-hyperjump area.

Iron Lady with double crew :o? Yes! But Rebels shouldn't have the Aries, as remote falcon bases + practically unlimited fuel to run them seems too strong.

Rebels/Colonies need a medium carrier, without ESB the Patriot is useless. Suggestion:

One engine variant:

Hull Name -- Tc Bm T/F $ Dur Tri Mol En Mass Carg Fuel Crew
Patriot Class -- 6 2 0/6 120 25 45 35 1 120 30 140 172

Two engine variant:

Hull Name -- Tc Bm T/F $ Dur Tri Mol En Mass Carg Fuel Crew
Patriot Class -- 6 2 0/6 160 35 45 35 2 180 30 140 172

to make the remotely base you need a 5 falcon to bring all necessary materials, and it will be just base, with no production, no mineral mining, no real capability to make something. to make something good you must spend another 3 turn. for this time you can bring all necessary by one large freighter.
But if they have aries, it can make a base in 700 Ly (2 hyperJump), then its base make aries and become functional, becouse its falcon can bring something to base, instead of just sitting on the planet.
So, the remotely base is almost impossible to make usual way. And it will be hard to make with aries. You cannot build more than 6 remote bases before the ship limit (becouse you need to build 5 falcons).
With this aries, the rebel will not more strong than Cyborgs.
And Cyborgs may fly anywhere, but rebels limited by 2 hyperjump radius.

Is the Rebel is not an far-jumping race like Cyborg -or not?

The borg probe is a single jump vessel. But good point here, Silvestr Potash... it is difficult, requires luck to find a suitable place and finally takes time for setting up a functional remote base just with falcons. It keeps the rebels though from flooding space with their brute force (free fighters) from all directions. The Borg in this context get nothing for free as they still have to buy everything they want to throw at someone else.

The Colonies on second thought don't have a need for a second carrier, they are already well enough gifted with sweeping power, free fighters and the unlimited fuel.

The borg in this context have 1.Unlimited range, 2. Unlimited colonists. The second is main. If you have free colonist, you can build all,tax all ,mine quick, make remotely base quick and far away from homeword.
The rebels cannot get free colonists, so they cannot fly far,can not efectively mine, and the remote base in 350 LY is not a "true remotely" base, becouse large freighter can bring all materials and make base for the same time. (but 600-700 LY is a remotely base)
And it need a TONs of supply to realize its "brute force" for the remotely base, which is impossible without colonists, anyway.
I sink the Tim imagine that rebels can settle in unusual plases, not just inside its own empire. Or what a reason to implement "Dark sense can not see rebels"?

You answered it yourself. Any race gets strength and weakness.

I just point the rebel will not flood space with aries.

Also, i think the Iron Lady is olny anti-patriot ship: the only medium ship of rebel fleet with more thatn 8 beams (except heavy alchemy). So it does not need the double crew.if you want fight -use tranquility instead, or guardian.
