Dawn of War II

Not sure how many WH40k fans we have here but the new teaser for DoW II is amazing. I personnally look forward to this more than Starcraft 2. I'm sure others will have different opinions but you know what they say about opinions.... (Caution, extreme violence)

I've been waiting for 10 years for Fallout 3 myself. I hope it's not as bad as the previews look.

Trailer looks cool.
But after the debacle that is Hellgate:London...
Trailers that don't show gameplay aren't worth much to me.

I'm waiting on Diablo3 & Starcraft2.
I expect when D3 shows up, I'll fall off the vgaplanet for awhile.

Yeah if you saw any of the various E3 demos run by the Bethsoft guy for F3, you'll see he's completely working a script and game play each time varies very little from demo to demo. He also had everything spec'd out to show off some of the heavy weapons.

It's to bad about Hellgate. They're all but out of business now. They've laid off all staff except for core members and Namco is paying the bills. I think they have a few servers up still. Their online gaming model stinks. The game itself isn't that bad. A bit boring. It feels like Diablo 1 in 3D.

Oh I agree that non-game play trailers are worthless as far as predicting the quality of the game, i just liked the content of the teaser. The DOW series is pretty well proven and the Company of Heroes engine they'll be using has seen significant use. That and my beginnings in 40k with the tabletop game make me want it.

I was actually just reading a review of F3 at

http://www.bit-tech.net/gaming/2008/08/ ... -preview/1

and it makes me want to go back and play my old copies of fallout 1 and 2 again.

I already have. :) Fallout Tactics too.

I read a couple of really good Fallout sites almost daily.

The first one is the longest running Fallout site I know of and the staff and posters are pretty jaded when it comes to Bethsoft's Fallout 3 vs the traditional Interplay versions of Fallout. You've been warned. :)

The other site is pretty new and is a Fallout 3 blog. Good news here on a regular basis too.
