I would like to introduce a new team game series to you. The game scenario is based on ][avoks "SLICE" game.
This could be the start of a challenger like series. The winning team is the "King of the Hill", and defends its position in the follow up game, as long as a new team wins the game and therefore becomes the new King. When it comes to race picking The King of the Hill always has the last pick - no choice!
Here are the Basic outlines and configurations:
The King of the Hill is a 2 x 4 team game.
The 4 teams are: Feds - Rebels. Lizards - Colonies. Fascists - Robots. Bird - Empire.
New and only victory conditions:
-- A team wins by capturing 300 planets prior turn 100
-- The team with most planets at turn 100 wins
Mods:
-- Teleport.
-- Zeus addon with all options deactivated except "Stargates"
Map: The map should be square with one team located in each corner - normal size 2000x2000 LY. The distance between teammates can be taken from The Slice also.
Shiplist: T-List, Engine Shield Bonus at 50%
Homworlds: Team HW close to one another (see SLICE). Extra Rich HW, Random Rich Planets. High Pop. High Money.
Config modifications:
-- The Empire has 15 free fighters per starbase instead of 5
-- Bird taxrate = 150%
Alliances: No team alliances allowed. Xenophobia!
Starbase @ HW with 2 ships.
TimHost 3.22.47.
Rank to Join: Teams can apply of the game in the forum. This game is "semi" private. Caligula and Fexer (Team Clueless)
decide who is allowed to join.
Player/Team Behavior:
We don't want to have any droppers nor "real live issue" folks in the game. Dropping is a no go! If one player drops the team has lost automatically! If there are reasons why one player has to drop, his partner has to take his race over.
There is no Q-player kicking in! If the remaining teammate doesn't want to take his mates race the team has lost immediately and the two races are "killraced"! Only seasoned teams/players wanted!!!

Picking Races:
This just goes by first come first serve. Team "Clueless" (Caligula and Fexer) will have the last pick - which means they will simply take what's left.
Everyone who is interested please drop a note here on this thread.
