Man of Steel

So I went to Man of Steel last night and have to say it's the Superman experience I've waited my entire life for... This movie blows away the old 70's / 80's editions and IMOP brought the right touch to the franchise. I'm definitely looking forward to the sequel and a Justice League movie.

In my neck of the woods it premiers in two days, so it shouldn't be long before it hits South Africa.

I went yesterday. Good movie, but very different from the older ones.

I like the change. the old formula was tired and I think that's what really hurt the Brandon Routh Superman movie 5 years ago.

Yeah, Lex Luthor should retire. But the older movies did have a kind of classy humor to them. Remember Margot Kidder asking Superman, "You got me? Who's got You?

IDK if I want to see it, I heard they changed it all up. Apparently now he only flies and is super strong. What happened to Heat Vision? X-Ray Vision? Cold Breath? Oh,and that power they invented in Superman IV, the power to fix the Great Wall of China by looking at it. What about all those?
I'm as BAD as the WORST, but thank God, I'm as GOOD as the BEST!

Just saw yesterday.
By far, the best Superman yet!

See it same way, even though it doesn't have the humoring charm of the 80's Superman movies
