In terms of people, yes I agree its been quite. Now as for activity ... since turn five, I've pretty much figured out who my neighbors. Also, odds of meteor is set to 2% and every turn so far we have had at least one. It's been at least 10 years since I played last, but I don't remember such frequent impacts. I'm very excited to be playing again

hconfig says (later):

"Number of LARGE meteors impacting 1"

So there is at least 1 meteor aiming at my homeworld every turn, and a 2% chance a second armageddon comes nearby ... :/

If they played on the BBS "Dazed in Confused" in Charleston, South Carolina then yes : ) I just recently figured out the math ... it's been closer to 18 years. I'm sure there are still people here that have played even that long ago <G>. I played on RC World for 1 game, but I seen my name wasn't even listed anymore.

I can still see myself in the player list even though my last game there ended in 2007.

Perhaps you just angered someone enough to be taken off the list

I dont think so, I left before 2007 ... but I never logged on after that, be it on the forums or a game. Maybe thats it.

I left RC World because it made me feel like I had to wear a suit and tie to play there

I now see where the HConfig setting wmerkel was referring to is. It's in the initial forum post for this game. I neglected to check those as I thought they where identical to the in-game messages.
