This game is using 4 host add-on's. You can learn more about them and review their doc's below.

Machines of Yore
http://www.circus-maximus.com/moy.htm

Clans
http://www.circus-maximus.com/clans.htm

Orbiter
Orbiter rotates the map each turn. The outside of the map
turns slower than the inside. In addition, each turn you will
receive an updated xyplan.dat with your turn.

last one is a surprise.

Wasp,

Orbiters causes the planets to rotate around the center of the universe. The outer planets rotate at a smaller angle otherwise they would move insanely fast. Things at a planet move with a planet, things not at a planet do not get moved by orbiter. This make travel faster in some directions and slower in others (for multi-turn travel). If you can get to a planet in one turn, then you will get there and move with that planet. It also makes and breaks one hop connections occasionally but you can see that coming if you pay attention. Now, I think I have said too much.

Havok,

I copied all the files in the zip to a new game directory.
Using VPA V3.66 I press shift-B to check out the Tlist ships.
I think the files are for Fed War 3 as the Empire has Facist ship list and Robots have Bird shiplist.
I don't mind having a Loki, but the other players may have an issue.

Oops. I might have given ][avok the wrong files... I'll send the correct files as soon as I can. (Off to and adventure race now. Don't know if I will be standing afterwards  )

Guys I've updated the shiplists and then the files out to you. Look for a email with the following zip file.

Beamspec.dat
hullspec.dat
truehull.dat
torpedospec.dat

The engine file remains the same.

If you have already played your turn, you're going to have to play it again with these new files and resubmit.

Nice, this game filled up fast! Not so nice is forgetting that I have loaded win7 64bit since playing my last game. I'm trying to do like I have did in the past which is download the shareware version and then copy my old game directory over it(i cant find my original disks) after installation. So far I cant even get the shareware version installed. So I'm not sure when Havok planned on starting the game but go ahead and get a replacement if need be. In the meantime I'm trying to get this to work and if anyone has suggestions let me know.

You can contact Tim and get a replacement Winplan CD and then do the transfer you mentioned.

If it is a 64bit Windows then the shareware or old setup will not work. Try using the Winplan32 client http://vgap.innernet.co.za/winplan/

Could Winplan32 client information/link be added to the Files->Player Files->Clients?
I belive this compatiblity problem is increasingly common.

@Bitmask
I found that and I what I did was copy my old plan1 directory to the hard drive and them run winplan32 from inside that and

I'm getting the following error: Run-time error '339': Component 'threed32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

Now I'm wondering if that is because I don't have my original disks to do the extraction process that it talks about?

The new 64bit windows does not have all the old controlls. That is what it complains about. If you run the Winplan32 installer it should fix this problem. Just make a backup if you have custom bmp folder

Ok, I have it working other than an error when trying to write in the notes option on the planets.
