Active players

Post#1 » Fri Mar 28, 2014 4:35 am

Hello active players!

Actually there are 6 left:

"Mr. Doom" borg Firehawk;
"Spiderman" Darkclow;
"Mr. T-Rex" Ymir [T2]
"lion heart" akshamu [T3];
"your preferred adjectives here" Albatross & me [T1].

When I see two of these 6 players do not send in their turns, I ask myself whats going on. I had fun up to now, whats up with you ? Surrounded by enemies, its hard for me to develop. I must admit I did some strategic mistakes, but developing in empty or only q-defended space shouldnt be goal of the game ?

Do you need more time to submit your turns ? Should we search for replacements for missing players or do you have any other idea how to deal with it ? Or just swallow the bitter pill (40 turns left) ?

Yes, quite sad. Just when my "Doom" army is ready, people start dropping.
Don't worry, I'll make sure you don't get bored anytime soon >:-)

Hell, for a moment I thought you'd be next in line to run away.

Ah, my bad. Wrong Fed... Was going for T3 Fed.

I'll swing around and play with you a bit.
Though I also need to do some T-rexercises.

In fact, it seems you are running away from the liz ... at least you are going in the opposite direction. Whats wrong, not interested in assimilating these ugly reptinoids ? :mrgreen:

It's a dilemma. I can attack one party, but that would help the next party. I already destroyed a large lizard force a while back. But they must have cockroach genes as they keep coming back :P

You are too weak to attack two parties at once ? :shock:

Don't worry, as soon as I handled the other three attackers you are next 8)

Klingon parasites (other game), Lizzard cockroaches.. badass skill comes with badass attitude here it seems :wink:
Last time I fought the Borg was in a FLAK game, got my butt kicked real ugly. You've got to do better though to get there.

Every man must live with his flaws. One of mine is that I get too carried away in banter on forums. So I must request you take my words with a grain of salt and bring your A-game to prove me wrong :wink:

Oh, and if you do, bring the salt. Salted lizard steak does not sound so bad :mrgreen:

So, after hitting my calculator several times I am now sure how much damage a pop will do to my OWN ships .... #-o

Is there a chance to go back one turn ? :roll:

51 "ship emergency" messages ... never seen that much up to now (this is the second time I am playing the fascist, maybe this is "normal")

The Fascist is a fun race to play, but getting those poppers to pop at the correct time and place is an art :shock:

This might help http://vgap.innernet.co.za/news/bitmasks-klingon-guide/ (or not...)

Well, I knew I was in for some pops, so I brought a shitload of supplies.
Did not expect so many Viccy's there though :/

And of course bringing my freighters and BR4 in the same turn was not a stroke of genious either [-X

I know I am slow in my push, but fighting ships without torps is really not that big of a challenge. :mrgreen:
